All positions require that you speak English fluently. If you do not see a position listed then we are not seeking to fill it. Please do not submit applications for unlisted positions, they will be rejected. Positions are listed in the order of importance.
We are currently seeking to fill the following positions
(every position is required to complete an introductory test to assess your skills)
Animator and Rigging
- Thorough knowledge of Maya or Max required
- Work on high quality keyframe animations assigned to you by the Project Lead
- Provide feedback and are willing to communicate and accept critiques from other team members and make changes when necessary
- Knowledge of the 12 animation principles a plus
- Collaborate with other departments in ensuring that the quality bar is kept and maintained
- Experience playing TimeSplitters and a deep knowledge of the franchise is a plus!!
Programmers
- Someone energetic and enthusiastic about technology and programming
- A good understanding of C++ experience is required
- Strong debugging skills with ability to work in large existing codebase, learn new systems/concepts and implement them quickly and efficiently
- Document software and features for internal and external engineering teams
- Participate in the scheduling, design, performance and code review process
- Must be willing to get stuck in, work hard and able to communicate frequently with the other programmers on the team
- Must run a Windows operating system for in-game testing purposes; it is strongly recommended to run Visual Studio 2017 for the coding environment
3D Environment Artist
- This position will be focused on bringing the classic level appearance up to a modern game standard
- Create optimized, high-quality low and high poly 3D models and textures for real-time rendering
- Immersive set-dressing using textures, props and dynamically placed vegetation / debris
- An understanding of physically based materials is a plus
- Suggest processes and/or tech to improve the quality of maps and the environment
- Experience with Autodesk Maya, 3ds Max, or alternatives such as Blender are required - Game development experience beneficial
- Must run a Windows operating system for in-game testing purposes
- Must be organized, willing to accept constructive criticism, and able to communicate frequently with the other members on the team
- Portfolio required
Weapons/Hard Surface Artist
- This position will be focused on bringing the classic weapon appearance up to a modern game standard
- Must be organized, willing to accept constructive criticism, and able to communicate frequently with the other members on the team
- Maintain consistency of team’s deliverables through regular critiques, feedback and mentoring
- Experience with Autodesk Maya, 3ds Max, or alternatives such as Blender are required; Game development experience beneficial
- Must run a Windows operating system for in-game testing purposes
- An understanding of physically based materials is a plus
- Portfolio required
Character Artist
- This position will be focused on bringing the classic character appearance up to a modern game standard.
- Understanding of the visual style of TimeSplitters games and a passion to push it to the next level
- Create optimized, high-quality low and high poly 3D models and textures for real-time rendering
- Must be organized, willing to accept constructive criticism, and able to communicate frequently with the other members on the team
- Maintain consistency of team’s deliverables through regular critiques, feedback and mentoring
- Experience with Autodesk Maya, 3ds Max, or alternatives such as Blender are required; Game development experience beneficial
- Must run a Windows operating system for in-game testing purposes
- An understanding of physically based materials is a plus
- Portfolio required
2D Graphics Artist
- This position will be focused on bringing the classic 2D assets up to a modern game standard
- Must be organized, willing to accept constructive criticism, and able to communicate frequently with the other members on the team.
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or alternatives such as Gimp or Inkscape required; Game development experience beneficial
- Will need to run the game engine and contribute to the team repository in a Windows environment. It is acceptable to run Windows from a Virtual Machine
- Portfolio required
