I want to see how the community of timeplitters varies in their preferred map. I'd like you guys to comment your favorite map and I'll keep track of it to see the favorite map of most of the responding community. Any map from any of the games. I'm betting Mexican Mission will get the most love, cause that's my favorite. TOP MAP: Streets (5 votes)

TS1: Spaceways (even though they made it worse in all modes but escort by only shortening the map to the rocket area) and Mansion
TS2: Streets, Chasm, Ice-Station and Chinese (Mexcian Mission is ok in my eyes)
TSFP: Zeppelin, Spaceport and Venice

Oh I think you were asking for a single preferred map lol. I got confused because of the title.
My favourite of all of them is Spaceport (Chasm would win if it weren't for the glitches).

My favourite map is Ice Station. (Streets would come second and Siberia third).

Also, it appears Mexican Mission is indeed the most popular map (source: www.strawpoll.me/1194105/r)

Edit: as to how to change your profile picture:
1) Go to your profile page.
2) On the right side (on the same height as the text 'Profile for <Yourname>') there is the text "Edit >>" which you can click on. It is almost invisible though, because of its blue colour :S
3) Click on the tab named 'Avatar Image'.

Geez, I can't just choose one map, as there are far too many great ones!
Instead, I will keep it limited to a Top 5 (in no particular order):
1. Ice Station (The cool factor is through the roof with this map, and has to be one of the largest available in the series. Also, it feels more tactical and strategic than the smaller, more frantic maps.)

2. Streets (TS1 and TS2, both variants have awesome layouts, and both have great music. Team-based modes work very well here due to the balance and alternative routes that can narrowly determine victory or defeat.)

3. Cyberden (The Industrial setting and music sold me a long time ago, as well as the great layout. 4-way CTB is a must, just for the chaos that ensues  )

4. Planet X (TS1 version, so many hours spent on this one map alone! Probably the best Alien-style level in the series, and one of the largest maps that can accommodate very drawn-out team-based game modes.)

5. Vietnam (I know this map may seem a bit more obscure, but its dark setting/tone actually works very well, whereas other maps seem a bit bland when they are stylistically "too dark". TS is all about bright, cartoony, colorful aesthetics, so it really is funny that Vietnam isn't like that and still manages to look and feel great.
Artistic preferences aside, the map itself is very fun in virtually all the game modes that are available for it, and can provide many quick, intense firefights.

Well, there's my Top 5 for this post, as I can't really have a "true" Top 5 that stays consistent for long :P
Wouldn't it be the day if Badass Cyborg was invited to the Badass Crater of Badassitude!?

TS1 - Tomb (music still creeps me out to this day) and Chinese. I think they were the only 2 maps I ever played (bearing in mind I must've been about 10 years old)

TSFP - (my favourite of the series) Training Ground without a doubt!

TS2 - Played it after TSFP and barley any of it. Because Training Ground was my favourite in FP, gonna have to say Training Ground for TS2
Do you see what your cunning daughter has done? My mother sucks lollipops in hell!

TS1: Firstplace: Village Second: Mansion Third: Mall
Village: I feel like the horror vibe of this map is actually creative. I have been lately intrested in lovecraftian stories for a short while and this map just had me imagining the stories taking place there. It plays out like streets in the first half and suddenly switches into a TS1 Planet x layout at the cliffs. I like the asthetic and the type of layout as a hybrid, an half and half cut together hybrid.

Mansion: The idea of a mansion as a horror stage sounds cliche, but the output in a FPS game such as TS is amazing. Their are multiple zones in the stage such as the exterior(including the place you spawn in the story mode), the cellar/catacombs, the main interior, and the attic. It does feel less like a house and more of a maze at times, but that makes it more fun in zones, and in TSR, Virus.

Mall: My third favorite is there for a reason. While the idea is great of having a grocery store, I believe the "public civilian consumer area" A.K.A. the isles are too small. It feels like fighting in a convenience store at times so it feels like a stretch to call it a mall because the size of the map is smaller than a typical grocery store.

TS2: First place: NightClub Second: Aztec Third: Utopia
NightClub: Where do I begin.... When you hear the word "Nightclub", you'd think about a really sweet flashy dance club, flashing dance floors, black leather seats and a techno DJ in control of the fog machines. Now, imagine that at 1920. That is that map. Apparently, TS2 probably intended Big Tony's Sunrise Club to be a very long and hard battle to get to big tony himself, but they left out 60 percent of the map due to the player believed to be already at a dangerously low health. So what did they do? They took that section, and made it it's own map. With a maze like structure flexible for virus and a style that glimmers the word of luxury's true name in chicago statement, you'd get my favorite map of the game.

Aztec: An another amazing map that again, took a section of a story map, and turned it into it's own thing. I'd play that if nightclub wasn't on the list for alot of time. Neverending pathways with barely any dead ends make for an amazing virus map (see my love for that mode?), and the tropical mayan/aztec feeling of that somewhat adventure puts the "umph" in that first time exploring. Would fight as a monkey barehanded with other barehanded aztecs. My only complaint is that it didn't feel more expansive.

Utopia: Once again, great maze-like level and beautiful visuals. There is a bug on the ai pathfinding, but that's what multiplayer is for!
