TOPIC: TimeSplitters: Zero (Fan-Game)

Hello, everyone!

I'm Currently making a TimeSplitters game. I've heard of Rewind coming years ago, and i saw progress few weeks ago, and it seemed really cool. But, being the man i am, i can't help myself and took action...
I don't want to wait too much, so i decided to make my own TS game.

So meet TimeSplitters Zero!
I made the game using my own engine that i dubbed the "Sauce Engine" made in game maker.

So here are some screen shots:





What i want to do with this game is a retro styled FPS, like Wolfenstein, but with a TimeSplitters feel.

I plan to put in the game:
- A story campaign (akin to the TS1 style story mode)
- A challenge mode (various minigames like Zombie survival, some sort of FPS Pac Man clone, escort mission, destruction, etc)
- Cat Racing Underground!

What's done: The engine is almost done: i made all the gunplay engine, i just need to work on the AI, adding more content, etc.

I got some crashs, I just can kill 3 enemies... :/

the game crashes? Really? Is there an error message?

Just "timesplitters.exe has stopped working" :/

I never had that problem on my computer. Interresting. Have you tried to relaunch it just after that?

Not sure that is necessary to say, nor fair, or true?

This is something he has been working on for fun, it is being made on an older engine designed for older games. This game utilizes the HUD from timesplitters, the sounds, the music, and the shooting aspects. Yet, you are not pleased. Not sure that makes sense to me. You can be critical and give feedback, but when you bash a fan project that's not even close to done, it's just mean and unfair.

I'm not criticizing you specifically, I am just trying to support Harry the Dee. Give him a break, and understand that game development is A LOT of work. Besides not everyone is a fancy programmer or artist or designer or whatever.

I personally think this is a great project and I'm glad to see fans partaking in development of their own. I am interested to see the future of this project and am glad to be able to test it out.
