If you could change any TimeSplitters game, what would you change about it that might've improved the game better?

For me it would've been cool to either create your own kind of gun or character.

Assault gamemode: I'd make more different objectives you'd need to do instead of repeating the same thing.
Virus: If the person what had the virus has not yet infected anyone within a limited time or has too many deaths: He/she'd have a slight buff which increases health and movement speed to atleast give the infected a chance.

There's already a topic for that:

haha everybody is being buried in topics here :P
But the annoying thing is there are no category's. Everything is put together on one pile and that can lead to miscauses.
A different meaning of a word can make a discussion go on and on...

Yeah, I know :( I've dropped Michael Hubicka an email and hope he's going to do something about it.

We talk about things in Timesplitters; specifically TS:FP, that we really didn't like so that those things can be improved upon in Rewind.
>The character stats were arbitrary and didn't add much individuality to the characters
>The allotted space for mapmaker maps was way too little
>The character animations were typically very awful
>They didn't let you preview tracks when selecting music for an arcade match
>There were loads of things the devs could have added to the mapmaker and wouldn't be too difficult to code, but they opted out
>There weren't any really overpowered weapons, of course you could say thats a plus, but I would have loved to throw something awesome into my matches that would have forced players to compete over or give to my mapmaker story maps' bosses
>The zones mode's zone pads were too small
>The characters in arcade didn't keep their animations from Story
>You didn't get points for killing people with the train
>Only one vehicle and one remote controlled pet
>The low health didn't refill a set amount, instead it increased to a set amount, same with low armor
>Mapmaker features stood in the middle of a cell, rather than hugging a wall
>Not enough mapmaker tilesets

>The character stats were arbitrary and didn't add much individuality to the characters
and they were glitched :(
>The allotted space for mapmaker maps was way too little
it's little for story or assault maps, otherwise it is sufficient. though I wouldn't mind a bit more.
>There weren't any really overpowered weapons, of course you could say thats a plus, but I would have loved to throw something awesome into my matches that would have forced players to compete over or give to my mapmaker story maps' bosses

there are a lot of weapons that are overpowered in the hand of story bots.
in multiplayer, that may be because there aren't many underpowered weapons.

>The low health didn't refill a set amount, instead it increased to a set amount, same with low armor

you're wrong about the low health. it gives you +25% I think and up to 100%
armor low gives +45% and up to 45% (armour high gives the equivalent of +90% health)

I never noticed the health bit. It always just looked like it was resetting my health to 50%. Increasing percentages is still stupid regardless.

Don't forget about how buggy timesplitters 2's elimination was from my PS2 disc when ever i played elimination every single bot went after me. Another thing is Timesplitters 2's fail music, i mean seriously are you having a laugh free radical. They decided to make the fail music so scary we didn't want to get killed in ANY story mission, ANY arcade league level, ANY challenge level. oh wait don't forget about mapmaker because if you die in mapmaker story mode the music doesn't play. In my opinion i think Timesplitters 2 was the most glitchy and its problems with online multiplayer. But that is all going to be fixed
