TOPIC: There is a serious lack of skilled shooters today

I'm going to be honest here and disagree with what some of you guys are saying. TimeSplitters was one of the easiest games to play in my opinion, especially TS2 with the moving reticle. CoD requires more skill and attention to detail as you can very easily kill 15 people and then out of no where, someone get's a bullshit kill on you with a pistol. (Btw for the record I hate CoD and everything it stands for, they've truly milked the series beyond repair.)

not the same kind of skills. attention to details, yes, it can be hard to spot opponents, especially if they camp. that's much easier on timesplitters. but do you have duels on CoD where aiming and dodging skills count? I wasn't under that impression. it seemed that the first to spot the other player was the one to get the kill.

oh and on TSFP, people don't get bullshit kills on you with pistols. pistols take skills to kill.

Lol never mind Fauch, he think CoD is skilled that's again a sort of guy who talk but never played it Online lol !: sure killing bot on TSFP don't need special experience lol , COD is totaly noobish I have never see a better AUTO AIM than on COD lol a lot PC players said player of COD console are too bad XD auto AIM is like Xmodus Cheat on CS. Never hear CoD was skilled, that's the first time Lol , you are funny man please CONTINUE ! XD

The thing about CoD (and many other modern FPS games) is that it relies almost entirely on map position. Being good at dodging, aiming etc barely means anything in CoD since you're pretty much dead if your enemy gets to shoot at you first. On the other hand, you need to both rely on good map position, be accurate and learn to strafe properly in TS or you won't get a single kill againts great players. In CoD everyone can kill anyone, especially since the series has started to include things like Claymores, Bouncing Betties and *cough* Nuke explosives aka lethal explosives *cough*.

I wouldn't honestly call CoD a skill-based shooter. It's easy to kill anyone, while in well-known skill-based games you seriously need to work on your kills. In Counter Strike you either kill an enemy with the first few shots or you die. In Quake you learn to move around the maps and be very accurate. In Tribes you need to learn to use the jetpack, ski well and read where the enemy is going to move.

the ppl who have played Online know about the Straff on TS that's was important , straff , mouvements and strategie for team play and a very good AIM who need endurance because the characters don't die with one shot there is a lot of things on TS to do for beating a good players ..

Fauch I never said that pistol's on TSFP would get you killed in a bullshit manner, I said on Call of Duty that you could easily rack up a high kill count and then out of no where someone in a ghillie suit gets a kill on you with a pistol when you're using a submachine gun and you clearly have your sight's aimed on them and are pulling the hell out of the triggers. Exactly the reason why CoD sucks.

lol, me and red can totally goof around and still crush most players. and the funniest is they would then blame us for playing too seriously

btw, I wonder how many people noticed that Red isn't playing seriously and definitely not trying his hardest on several of his videos.

sounds like lag. otherwise I wonder why the submachine gun wouldn't kill them.

It's definitely not lag I can assure you as I have fibre optic broadband and I always get 5 bar signal. May be because the CoD servers are bad but in this day and age that shouldn't be happening. Still at least the servers aren't as bad as Battlefield's.
Oh and if you think that it may be because I suck at the game then that's not true, My accuracy is 27.31% & my Kill to Death ratio is 3.24

Granny , we don't say you are bad but every players I know and we know, have tried to played TSFP Online and they was like a big noob because TS is really different than the others FPS, fast paced , endurance Aiming , straff , and a lot of others things.. I've played with some friend who were really good on COD and Halo and they was really bad.. so COD or other game are not compairable .
