We will definitely take our time with it. Getting into alpha is a top priority for us right now. It means that we get to take on additional volunteers to test the game and provide feedback on various things.

We are not looking for alpha testers at this time. There will be a very strict criteria in place when we start taking applications for alpha testing. Just to make this clear because I have had people email me about it - donating will not get you access to the game. We cannot do a KickStarter or IndieGoGo campaign for TimeSplitters Rewind due to legal reasons.

Those two things seem to crop up a lot in emails.

If you read the disclaimer on the Jobs page, that's another thing that pops up a lot in applications. I understand people want to get paid for their work, and I am flattered they think we are some big time studio with a budget capable of paying them.. but we're not. We are just volunteers working really hard on a project we all love. We have had people join and knew nothing about the TimeSplitters franchise - this didn't work out well. That's why we have a requirement that any applicant wanting to be a member of this team to be a fan of the franchise.

Here is a fun fact that not many people know: we don't have concept art. I know every developer out there just had their mind blown with that. It's true though - no concept art. We actually physically play through the games frequently, studying every detail to ensure we are capturing everything. Now we are looking for concept artists - because we realized we need people to help us up the quality of our work even more. You've seen Duckman Drake, Viola and maybe a few other things we have done. It all looks great and we're excited with it - but we are perfectionists at heart. We want TimeSplitters Rewind to be something truly amazing and for Crytek-UK to finally give everyone a TimeSplitters 4.

We have big dreams and with that we have a strict system. We take this very seriously. Even if we were making money from TimeSplitters Rewind - our hearts are in it for the passion of the franchise and game development.

Sorry for the rant, I tend to do that. I'm very excited for TSR and I am super passionate about it. :)

We are definitely looking for people to fill a few roles on the team. If you know anyone pass them on to me! I hope that everyone here will pass around the Jobs page! It would mean a lot to us to have more talented folk on the team. :)

I've got two questions: The first is about the perfectionism You say you are perfectionists putting in a lot of effort and making it as good as possible. Is everyone happy when they are done making for example a character or are they still doubting about if it is good enough for Rewind?
And the second one is about the vision of TSRewind. Are you 100%( or atleast something in that area) that it will be the game you (or whole pantheonyx) is expecting or are you (a little bit) afraid it will be good but not the perfect vision of TS?

(PS I apoligize if I am asking difficult questions but I would really like to know how you all think about this kind of things)

I would like to know how aiming and shooting works/feels. Will it be exactly like previous Timepslitters games, or will you add things such as iron sights to the game? Sorry if something like this has been answered elsewhere.

Is it possible that there will be an update this or next month? Since a lot of people (including me) are wondering what is going on in the game so curiosity of the fans is over 110% :cheer:

This question isn't necessarily for Michael Hubicka, it's for any of the Moderators on here. So what I wanted to ask was when can we use our own personalised avatar images? & How far into development are you guys with rewind? Thanks for your hard work and I'm sure that we're all looking forward to seeing the footage of the game.
